CHATUS

A team messenger where decisions turn into action

CHATUS is the team messenger inside PRANUS. Beyond chat, it’s where unanswered customer questions land, approvals happen with one tap, and every call ends with written minutes.

What it does

  • Channels with topics, chats with folders

Conversations are organized by topic, and any topic can be marked resolved. The chat list supports folders, so busy people stay oriented.

  • A Questions desk

When an AI agent can’t answer a customer, the question lands here with a recap of the conversation and a deadline. The approved answer goes back to the customer and into company knowledge.

  • Queue, panel, or blind answers

A specialist can claim a question, several experts can answer together, or it can go to one named person. In blind mode, experts can’t see each other’s answers until one is approved.

  • One-tap approvals

Approve, return with comments, or reject — right in the chat. Contracts and deals don’t wait for someone to open another app.

  • Calls with an AI note-taker

Voice and video calls run inside CHATUS. The Secretary records the call, separates speakers, and drafts minutes with decisions and action items.

  • Tasks from any message

Turn a message into a task in a click. The task’s discussion is a single thread shared between the chat and the task card.

  • Voice notes, transcribed

Voice and video notes are transcribed with speaker separation, so nobody has to listen to a three-minute recording to find one number.

  • Secret chats and a leak guard

Secret chats are encrypted on the device, with organization keys held in escrow — and the app says so plainly. A guard bot flags passwords and API keys posted in chats.

  • Chat across companies

Talk directly with partners who also run on PRANUS, with guest access and a separate folder for other companies.

The decision was made in chat — and then it disappeared

Tuesday’s meeting about a big account went well. You agreed on a discount, a delivery date, and who drafts the contract. A week later, nobody remembers who promised what. Half the discussion happened in DMs, half in a group chat, and the important part was said out loud on a call. Legal is waiting, finance has no idea, and the customer is asking where the paperwork is.

Meanwhile, support gets a question that isn’t covered anywhere. Someone forwards it to a team chat, where it sinks under birthday wishes and memes. The customer waits until evening.

CHATUS keeps all of this in one place. The call is recorded and turned into minutes with owners and due dates. The contract is approved with a button inside the conversation. The customer’s question lands on a dedicated desk with a deadline and an owner, so it doesn’t get lost.

How CHATUS connects to the rest of PRANUS

CHATUS isn’t a standalone app bolted onto your stack. It’s the conversation layer of the whole system, so any message can become an action.

  • Tasks. A task in TASKUS task management and its chat thread are the same conversation. Turn any message into a task without copying and pasting.
  • Customer questions. The AI agent answering customers in the CONNECTUS omnichannel inbox searches the MEMUS knowledge base first. If the answer isn’t there, the question arrives on the Questions desk with a recap. Human operators can also send selected customer messages there.
  • Deals. Every important deal from the CRM can get its own room with the customer’s logo, cards, and buttons, so legal, finance, and operations sign off without leaving the thread.
  • Documents. Contracts and policies from DOCUS document management arrive for approval with Approve / Return / Reject buttons.
  • Calls. The Secretary records the call, separates speakers, and drafts minutes: decisions, risks, and action items. Once approved, action items become tasks.

People and permissions come from the org chart. New hires see their department’s channels right away, and offboarding closes access everywhere in one step.

What the AI does

AI in CHATUS goes where time usually leaks away.

It turns unanswered questions into knowledge. Once a specialist answers a question on the desk, it becomes a candidate entry in the knowledge base. A “build the answer from this discussion” button shows exactly what will be saved. After approval, your AI agents answer that question on their own next time, with a source link.

It summarizes panel answers. When several experts weigh in, an AI assistant consolidates their input into one reply. In blind mode, experts answer independently, so the first reply doesn’t anchor everyone else.

It transcribes speech. Voice notes and calls become searchable text, and meeting minutes can be produced in the language you choose.

It tells you who’s waiting on you. The Assistentus personal assistant gives you a short list of people waiting for your reply, so you don’t have to scroll through hundreds of unread messages.

It watches for leaks. A guard bot spots passwords and keys pasted into chats and warns the sender.

Getting started

CHATUS is set up as part of the overall PRANUS rollout. The AI implementation agent builds your org chart and invites your team, and department channels appear automatically with the right permissions. Connecting the Questions desk to your AI agents and knowledge base happens in the same conversation. See how implementation in 14 days works.

If conversations must stay inside your company, PRANUS can be deployed on your own server or in an isolated environment.

Who it’s for

  • Owners and managers who want decisions and action items in one place, not scattered across a dozen chats.
  • Sales and support teams that need customer questions to reach the right specialist in minutes.
  • Legal and finance teams that approve contracts and deals and would rather do it with one tap.
  • Companies with strict data rules that need a team messenger they can host themselves.

FAQ

How is CHATUS different from Slack or Telegram?

People and permissions come from your org chart, so a new hire sees the right channels on day one and a departing employee loses access everywhere at once. Tasks, approvals, deals, and customer questions live in the same thread instead of in forwarded screenshots.

How does the Questions desk work?

When an AI agent can’t find an answer in the knowledge base, it tells the customer it’s checking and sends the question, with a recap, to CHATUS. A specialist answers, the customer gets the reply, and once approved, the answer is saved so the agent can handle it next time.

Can we host the messenger on our own server?

Yes. PRANUS can run in our cloud, on your own server, or in an isolated environment. Calls run on the platform’s own servers rather than through a third-party video service.

Can admins read secret chats?

Secret chats are encrypted on the device. Organization keys are held in escrow, and we state that clearly in the app so nobody is misled about who could access them.

Can we add bots?

Yes. Bots work like teammates, with their own buttons and forms. AI teammates from AGENTUS also post in CHATUS when they need a human.
