Three departments, three versions of the truth
The shift supervisor logs output in a notebook. The warehouse keeps stock in a spreadsheet updated once a week. Purchasing finds out the film is gone when the line is already down. Finance calculates cost after the fact, and nobody can explain why last month’s big order lost money.
The classic answer is an ERP. But a typical ERP project runs for months, needs a consulting partner and a thick requirements document, and by go-live the processes have already changed. OPTIMUS works differently: an AI agent configures the ERP for your industry through conversation, and you see and approve every step.
How OPTIMUS fits into PRANUS
The ERP in PRANUS isn’t an island connected by nightly syncs. It shares customers, people, and money with everything else.
- From deal to production order. A won deal in the CRM becomes a sales order or estimate built on the shared product catalog.
- One product record everywhere. Items are shared across CRM, documents, and ERP, with names in several languages and tax codes attached.
- Costs flow to finance. Proposed cost entries go to finance and accounting for posting, and a three-way match of order, receipt, and invoice blocks payment on price mismatches.
- Rules that can’t be broken. Product configurators and business rules are checked by the business rules engine, so “ship only with a signed delivery note” stops being a suggestion.
- Custom features on demand. When your process needs something that doesn’t exist yet, the agent sends a request to the AI development team.
What the AI does
The AI’s main job in OPTIMUS is implementation and configuration.
- Keeps a fact file. The agent records what you tell it about your operation and remembers the source of every fact — a conversation, a file, a specific employee.
- Builds your industry profile. Routings, bills of materials, lists, roles, and print forms are assembled from your answers and documents.
- Shows the plan before it acts. Every change is a before-and-after card, applied only after your approval and reversible in one step.
- Watches the numbers. AI analytics and event-based automations: material runs low, a purchase request goes out; scrap crosses a threshold, the supervisor gets an alert.
Costing you can trust
The question every manufacturing owner asks is “what did this order really cost us?” In OPTIMUS, cost is built from real events: which raw-material lots went into production under FIFO, how many hours the crew worked, which overhead landed on the shop, how much the equipment wore. Customs and freight on imported materials are allocated automatically.
You can drill into any number and see where it came from. If goods were received but the vendor invoice hasn’t arrived, you’ll see it. If an invoice price doesn’t match the order, payment holds until someone decides. A losing order shows up while you can still fix it, not at quarter-end.
How you get started
PRANUS starts with a first working setup: org chart, permissions, people, CRM, and tasks. Production is configured in the next phase: the agent asks about your shops, operations, and product range, collects sample documents, and builds the profile. Read more about onboarding by conversation, and check the deployment options if your data needs to stay on your own infrastructure.
Who it’s for
- Manufacturers with multiple shops, operations, and routings — packaging, food, furniture, metalwork.
- Distributors managing warehouses, lots, and expiry dates.
- Service companies running work orders, crews, and field visits.
- Owners who want the real cost of every order, not an estimate after month-end.
Book a demo, tell us how your operation runs, and we’ll show you how the agent starts mapping it.
